This needed for this activity:
1.White Paper
2.Color Pens
3. Manipulative like buttons, pom poms, pebbles etc
Procedure:
Step 1:
Draw patterns like curves, swirls, squiggles, zig zags, letters, numbers etc in the white paper with color pens.
Step 2:
Keep the manipulative in the bowl with the pattern sheets.
Step 3:
Allow the child to arrange the manipulative in the pattern drawn.
This Activity promotes FINE MOTOR, COORDINATION SKILLS as children are picking up and placing the manipulative onto the paper using the PINCER GRIP ACTION.
This Activity is great for SORTING, CLASSIFYING THE COLORS or SIZE OF THE BUTTONS.
Children can create patterns, lines, symbols, letters, etc
